    1. Level 3 First Aid At Work

    The most popular workplace First Aid training in the UK is the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course. You will be able to demonstrate that you have completed sufficient First Aid Training that fulfills Health and Safety (First Aid) 1981 Regulations to be a First Aider in a low-risk work setting after completing the course.

    This training is not only for businesses; if you want to acquire life-saving First Aid skills, this is the right course for you. The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a wonderful choice for everyone from beginners to skilled First Aiders

    Assessment

    The MCQ paper will be taken under examination conditions, i.e. learners will sit a minimum of 1.25 metres apart, will not confer during the examination, and no electronic devices (such as mobile phones) or books, including dictionaries, will be permitted.

    2. Emergency First Aid At Work

    This one-day course is designed to give you the basic knowledge of how to administer emergency first aid.

    Ths one-day emergency first aid at work course is designed to give you the basic knowledge of how to administer emergency first aid. Some companies only require emergency training following a first aid risk assessment – in such cases, our 1-day emergency first aid at work course is sufficient and first aiders only need to receive the EFAW qualification. Depending on the outcome of the assessment, other businesses may need more extensive training for the first aid at work (FAW) qualification.

    Assessment

    3. First Aid – Annual Refresher

    The HSE strongly recommends that HSE qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders undertake a first aid annual refresher course in order to keep their skills up-to-date and refreshed. The qualification period for both groups of First Aiders is 3-years. It was felt that this period was too long without any additional training.

    Observation-based assessment whilst the course is taking place. This assessment is a Pass/Fail.

    4. Level 2 First Aid Mental Health At Work

    The level 2 first aid mental health at work course will teach you how to be aware of common mental health disorders and understand how to recognise the causes and impact of stress.

    Course Summary

    3. Knowing how to recognise the causes and impact of common mental health conditions.
    4. Understanding how individuals may use harmful strategies to cope with a mental health disorder.
